Heading up into the high Atlas Mountains I asked our driver to stop so I could get out and investigate these unusual looking fields. Greeted by a local farmer I asked him what was going on. However, it soon became clear this mans English was limited to an overly happy hello and a smile. Sooner or later our driver came over to translate and told us that it was in fact a salt field. That’s it for Morocco and what an amazing trip we had! The highlight being the orange blossom crème brûlée at Le Jardin.
