Strawberry and custard croissants and tarts - what more could I ask for! The bakeries in Amsterdam are delightful.

Plum and blue cheese bread for me.

The students revolt! There are soooo many cheese shops dotted around Amsterdam and all offer free tastings. But, there were also soooo many groups of deprived university students roaming the streets. Taking the two together, a perfect opportunity emerges for the students to get free food. Hence, every cheese shop we walked by their samples were either being savagely pillaged by another group of students or my friends. All in the name of CHEESE.
