Brandied Cherries

Ingredients

400 ml of brandy 
200 ml of water 
200 g of sugar 
500 grams of cherries 
10 grams of ground clove ​

Method

A perfect way to preserve the excess cherries you have on your tree. 

1. Wash and pip the cherries. Place them into jars.
2. In saucepan add the brandy, water, sugar, and ground clove and bring to a boil. 
3. Reduce to simmer and once all the sugar has disolved pour the liquid over the cherries in a jar.
