Marché couvert les Enfants Rouges is my idea of heaven. It features produce sellers and restaurants in a non stuffy somewhat rustic surrounding that’s not overly gentrified like the food markets found in London. Feeling peckish and strolling the Marais then pop in here for a spot of lunch.

SCARY Japanese friend chicken. Why scary? Well, because somehow the dish manipulated my mind into thinking it was somewhat healthy. This is a must when visiting Marché couvert les Enfants Rouges as it’s one of the best street food dishes I’ve munched on. €13 - Bargain Bucket.
