For three years I have tried to get a table @menugordonjones, and finally I managed to secure one for my last ever meal in Bath! Let’s see if the whispers of how good this place is are true.

‘The Bread Experiment’ - Yes a few test tubes featured, but I wouldn’t necessarily depict this as an experimental dish that drastically challenges your tastebuds. Nevertheless, it was a rather fun and unusual way to present the table bread.

A beautifully light and airy tomato mousse. This delightfully dissolved on the pallet with the cheese creating a rich and creamy tomato soup like flavour. Mmmm
Personal tarts are the best kind of tarts, especially smoked haddock ones served on a plate that looks like the ocean.
|
A miniature full English for main! Ok this portion may look small, but oh my it was richer and heavier than a full size version you get in your local café.
|
Too many shapes, colours and textures on here for me. Keep it simple and let the ingredients shine through.
