Welcome to Smoke & Salt - A unique dining experience in a cargo container.
‘Runner beans, smoked mussels and remoulade’. Breathe, breathe and breathe again as this was a mighty fine dish. The smokey mussels with the fresh runner beans - truly divine. It was a shame I had to share this dish with my friend ‘The Recruiter’ because I could’ve eaten about ten portions of this mystical creation.

Ceviche is one of my favourite foods. I’ll never forget when I visited Panama and they sold the stuff by the gallon in polystyrene tubs - unreal. This dish was delicious. Though, I’m not so sure it was a ceviche as I didn’t quite get that citrusy-vinegary punch to the back of the throat, which I expect.

This dish definitely stole my heart and the oxen’s 🐒 I really enjoy taking my friends for dinner and forcing (no arms broken in the process don’t worry) them to try new things and this dish was no exception to that. The Recruiter had never tried heart and fair play he dug in like he forgot what it was. Within ten seconds a chorus of ‘ummm’ bellowed out of our mouths because it was simply delicious. The flavour combinations of gorgonzola, heart and chimichurri were knockout. @smokeandsaltldn

Cucumber, turnip and radish. This dish was fresh and zingy, which was just what was needed to cleanse the pallet between the meaty heart and pork mains. Stunning presentation might I add. @smokeandsaltldn

Two cheeky chaps dining on a cheeky piece of pig with sourdough onion rings and bloody mary hawt sauce. This was sooooooo good! The fatty pork cheek melted in the mouth and the tomatoey tobascoooey sauce worked so well as it cut through the rich meat. We both sat there and wanted more. I say sat...but this dish was so good I was bounding around like a hare.

Banana, miso and chocolate tofu. We were both highly skeptical of what this dish would taste like, especially me I hate tofu. However, I ended up loving it and the chocolate tofu tasted amazing! Smoke & Salt is officially one of my favourite restaurants in London at the moment and amazing value at £25.
