Allons à Bruges!! Where do we even start with Belgian cuisine... moule-frites, tomate-crevette, pêches au thon, waffles, chocolate and lots of beer. It all sounds divine to me! I love Bruges it’s a fantastic city full of character, winding canals and food. You must venture to this picturesque place.

Damn the angles and edges on this waffle were.  It is so aesthetically pleasing that I might have to get it printed and framed. Not only did the waffle stand out, but so did the glistening, glossy, glowing, gooey chocolate. Drooling from my mouth at a faster rate than Niagara Falls I proceeded to tuck into this godess of a waffle. I can confirm it was obscene, so light and perfectly sized. Come on people appreciate this beauty and give it some love.

I love interactive dining where you can do it yourself at the table. Here in Bruges I experienced just that, but in a way I've never seen before. I've cooked steak on hot rocks in front of me, yet never have I seen it done over a flame on a skewer. It was a fun experience. Although, I'm not sure my cooking was on point as the steak was a little bit tough! Health and safety in the UK might not approve of this.
