Everything about Céleste at The Lanesborough is an anti-monarchists worst nightmare. The architecture takes opulence to the next level. Have you ever imagined what it would feel like to be a royal for a day? Well this is your place.

A magical puff ball of mushroom.

Beautiful confit egg on a bed of pancetta. Taste was sublime and had great depth. Glaze on the reduction was top notch. Presentation lacked imagination.

Mussel and saffron risotto. What a delight this was. A good risotto has bite, is light, and still holds a buttery richness.

Mango and passion fruit floating island. Overall an ok meal at Celéste. Would I go back? No as the food didn’t wow me enough. Would I recommend going? Yes as the dining room is something special.
